Skylight Strategic Partners was founded by Megan Taylor, former Energy Transition & Partnerships Advisor for USAID’s Power Africa initiative. With more than 15 years of experience working for and with the US Government - in both Africa and Washington, DC - Megan has a demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships across a multitude of actors to foster collaboration and promote coordination on shared priorities that address the energy trilemma in sub-Saharan Africa.

With a deep network of senior level contacts from local and international governments, the private sector, MDBs, DFIs, and philanthropic communities, Skylight brings unmatched insight and insider knowledge of the donor landscape — driving the acceleration of public-private collaboration to advance decarbonization in sub-Saharan Africa.

Phoebe Sullivan, Strategic Advisor

Phoebe has worked in international development for 2o years, across the forestry, agriculture, and energy spaces, working in the private sector, consulting and for the U.S. government. She has managed $150 million in technical assistance and transaction advisory services for USAID’s Power Africa in over thirty countries in sub-Saharan Africa and managed the New Forest’s Company carbon credit asset development. She designs impactful partnerships, drawing on resources and expertise across public and private sector actors with the aim to deliver tangible infrastructure projects, connecting capital to exceptional companies.
